The congregation in Rijsbergen started on 29th of March 1959 by the initiative of the Reformed Church (Gereformeerde Kerk vrijgemaakt) in Breda. Seven families representing in total 37 persons, of which all were active members in the church in Breda, started the new congregation. In 1982 the congregation joined the other congregations of de Dutch Reformed Church (Nederlands Gereformeerde Kerk). Now all these congregations together mounts up to an total of 32.000 members, 93 churches and 83 pastors.

At our church in Rijsbergen you can discover every week that God is there for you! He wants to be there for you. Singing, praying, praising and listening to His Word through which we want to know Him better. In this way we can be a part of a loving congregation. Being a child of God. All people are very welcome: young and old as we believe that God Himself makes Himself known through His deeds and through His Word. In our congregation we celebrate the holy sacrament every Sunday.
